    Before piling or stacking the bags, the intermediate part (1) of the bag lying between the reinforced or thickened top and/or bottom part (2,3) is folded so as to create a layer having a thickness corresponding to the thickness of the top and/or bottom parts (2,3) where these are folded flat against the bag or sack. Consequently, the bags can be stacked in great numbers without upsetting the stack or distorting the shape of it.

    The invention relates to packaging, in particular to flat paper bags, intended for various bulk products.
    The purpose of the invention is to improve the conditions of storage and transportation of bags,

    Bag 1 has a length considerably exceeding its width.
    The width of the bag at the two opposite ends is the cross-shaped end part 2 and the end part 3 with a flap.
    The end pieces are glued together with slowly hardening glue and are folded at the level of the bag wall with the formation of six-fold folds.
    In the central part of the bag there is a Z-shaped six-fold fold 4, parallel to the end folds.
    Drying is made as follows.
    A tube of several layers of paper is cut across to the outer dimension and the end parts are glued together.
    The glued end portions 2 and 3. are folded to form six-layer folds at the level of the bag wall. Then the part of the bag lying between the end folds is folded so that a six-layered Z-fold is formed. In this way, a bag of uniform thickness is folded in and the zone between the bonded end parts consists of six layers. It is possible not to be limited to a single folding and to perform several Z-shaped folds between the end portions.

    Due to the Z-fold, the folded bags have the same thickness over the entire area and can be stacked one on top of the other. This fold makes the bags harder, thanks to which it is possible to automatically stack them on a pallet, since the gripping devices make it easier to work with them.
